Breakfast at Kensington Market

I had to get out of the house over the weekend to take a break from the stress and work load at college. In the mood to explore some good breakfast options, I decided to head down to Kensington Market, a bohemian neighborhood in Downtown Toronto with shops and restaurants lined up as you enter.

To best describe this place, I would say, imagine New Orleans with the Goa vibe.
I had to try out at least 3 breakfast spots for you guys. Started my day off with some poutine because I can eat fries at any time of the day(PLEASE....try not to judge guys 😁). I tried the classic poutine at Fresco’s Fish & Chips. Their fries were really good and with the cheese curd & the gravy, it was delish (you see what I did there?).
My second breakfast for the day was an Egg Bae sandwich at Egg Bae
This sandwich was so…good with the soft scrambled eggs with chives, muenster cheese, slow cooked onions, bae sauce and the bun. The bun was dark brown in color and soft to bite. Their bun is a mix of an egg bun and a brioche.
I was pretty full but I had to do one last one to wrap up with breakfast. I found this small eatery called Latin Taste which had a long queue of hungry people. I patiently waited because I knew this place had to have something good. A small place with a couple of tables had such great food to offer.
I tried their minced meat empanadas which is one of their best selling items. Fresh pastry with some flavorful filling of minced meat & pepper.
My end was just perfect with the empanadas. With that, I end my journey to Kensington Market but I am sure I will be going back to that place for more.
There are more interesting posts coming up so do stay tuned for my next update peeps! Till then, take care & live life!
